In the Moneylife Foundation event, the “people’s doctor” left the knowledgeable audience consisting several eminent doctors enthralled with his simple and yet effective ways to create wellness and happiness.
“People think that popping a pill gives them instant relief. But one has to remember that behind every ill there is a pill,” said Professor illustrious doctor and professor Dr BM Hegde. He was speaking at Moneylife Foundation’s first seminar on wellness and healthcare in Mumbai.
Dr Hegde, a Padma Bhushan, is known for his unconventional views and oratory skills and has written several books including What Doctors Don’t Get To Study in Medical School.
Addressing the participants, consisting of many doctors and senior citizens, Dr Hegde explained in details about his experience in treating patients using alternative medicine and how people are misguided about various treatments and medicines, because our minds have been schooled to think that way.
